Not too much to say today, but I’ve updated my Theme for the first time since installing it, and for some reason I did not configure my changes I made previously as a “Child Theme” and those are now lost. So I installed a Google +1 button plugin and set it up; however it won’t show on my Welcome and Android Software pages, there seems to be an incompatibility with the plugin I am using to selectively display certain posts on those pages. If you click the link to the full posts, then the +1 button shows up fine… I’ll look into removing it from those two pages in the near future, but I am headed to bed very soon.

I really just wanted to say thank you, July was my top month, ever (June used to be!), and I know I owe it to the visitors coming to get Notion Ink Adam Roms from my mirrors page. I can prove this by stating that although it was just posted on June 4th, It is currently the 5th most popular page on my website, and will take the #4 spot by the end of this week. Most of these visitors have found my website via TabletRoms.com and I want to make sure to mention that I appreciate the Developers there for making my Notion Ink Adam usable.

I’ve been doing a bit of work lately,

  1. I have a new Rom installed on my HTC Evo, the MikG 2.3 Rom with Sense 2.1+3.0
  2. All my apps are reinstalled, but not yet configured, Thank you Titanium Backup for helping with that, just bought the Pro License, a bit pricey, but’ll just eat at home this week!

  3. I’ve added the poorly placed in the top left corner Google +1 button to the site
  4. It was either that or the bottom left… haven’t figured out where else to put it with this theme, but I’m looking.

  5. I am going to flash a new Rom on my Notion Ink Adam here in about three hours
  6. I have to go mow the lawn first, it looks so bad I’ve started singing “Welcome to the Jungle” every time I go outside!

  7. Finally got my Xbox 360 setup so I can get audio and video on my PC monitor (HD TV) and my TV
  8. Video has been working for a couple of months, but I couldn’t find the adapter I needed to do the audio, so I bought another yesterday, paid too much for that too..

  9. Reimaged my laptop, three times… still having issues with it, going to have to spend most of tomorrow on it I fear
  10. Finally ordered a replacement fan for the top of my Thermaltake PC case, it has been acting up for about 12 months now!
  11. I hope it fits, the manufacturer claims they are 230mm fans in there now, but when I measured it with my tape measure it was only 203mm (fan size) and about 214mm from end to end of the case opening and I’m afraid I’ll have to remove the Motherboard to replace it…

  12. Not to mention a bunch of housework

So, deal with the Google +1 button where it is, I’ll probably not get around to moving it for 3 -12 months (I say that as I have a baby due in less than 4 months), I’ll try and get another 5 or so Android apps posted up this week, a write-up on my Evo and Adam Roms, and maybe I’ll even finally get pictures put up for the apps pages! I did take 383 screen shots on my Adam using the ShootMe app, but they all came out as blank black screens… so I’ll try again later. I’ve also added and updated my Notion Ink Adam Roms page, a LOT the last week or so, now make sure you head over and take a look! Doubt I’ll do the same for my Evo though, as they seem to have things well in hand on their own.

I am having php code errors with my most recent post on installing and configuring HP Deskjet printers in Ubuntu 10.10 x64, searching online has lead me to believe that the page with the error has been hacked, as it is a .php file that is part of a plugin that has not been updated by me in several months. I’ll get it working here in a bit, but first I’ll need to modify some security on the website. Sorry for any inconveniences.

**** Update ****
Ok, the issue was relatively simple, after checking the file in the error and not finding anything, I checked my page code and found a typo on one of the lines. After fixing the typo it resolved the issue, I even went to the home page for the plugin that was having the issue and found several users having this issue in the last month or so, kind of amusing…

Some updates to the site, I have added Zemanta, so I should be able to provide some extra links and maybe even a picture or two to my posts now!  The bad news is that it requires me to work in visual mode, and I have been working exclusively in html mode lately to get the formatting the way I want it.  I will let things go for few posts this way, and if all is well, I’l stay in visual mode using Zemanta.  All posts are being created from my cr-48 Google Chrome notebook, although I am expecting to receive my NotionInk Adam early March and I will also be trying out making my posts from it once it arrives.  Also, I found that the login link to post comments had disappeared, that issue has been resolved.  I have also noticed that my new posting method, that allows me to send posts to different pages blocks out any links unless you click on the title and go to the actual post page.  I do not really like this, but what can you do?
